Premier Cribbage Board – American Black Walnut with Hard Maple Inlay

Most cribbage boards are made to be played. The CGH Premier Cribbage Board is made to be kept.

Handcrafted in Ripon, Wisconsin from American Black Walnut with a contrasting Hard Maple inlay, this board is built to the standard of heirloom-quality furniture, not a game piece. The walnut darkens beautifully with age. The maple stays bright. Fifty years from now it will look better than it does today.

Three player tracks, 120 precision-drilled holes, engraved position numbers, integrated score tracker, and a fitted pin storage compartment; everything a serious player expects, in a board serious enough to pass down.

The walnut is laminated using the same methods applied to fine quality table tops. This process is time ridiculously consuming.  But it’s also non-negotiable.  Eight boards have been sitting in my shop for four years. In Wisconsin where the weather and humidity swing harder than Babe Ruth.  Last week I started sanding them. Dead flat, every single one.
