Overview
At Come Good Home Woodcrafters, we take tremendous pride in the quality and craftsmanship of every piece we create. Not only do we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase, we want you to be DELIGHTED with your decision. Please read this policy carefully before placing your order.
1. Non-customized Products
If you are not fully satisfied with a non-customized product, we will gladly accept returns under the following conditions:
- Item must be returned within 14 days of the delivery date
- Item must be in original, unused condition
- Item must be in original packaging or comparable protective packaging
- Proof of purchase is required
Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will process your refund to the original payment method within 5 business days. Original shipping charges are non-refundable. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to our error.
2. Custom & Personalized Products
Because custom and personalized items are made specifically for you, they are final sale and not eligible for return or exchange with the following exceptions:
- The item arrives damaged in transit
- The item contains a production error made by CGH (incorrect engraving, wrong wood species, structural defect, etc.)
- The item significantly differs from the approved proof
If your custom item qualifies under one of these exceptions, please see Section 4 (Damaged or Defective Items) below.
3. Non-refundable Items
The following are not eligible for return under any circumstances:
- Custom or personalized items (except as noted above)
- Items returned after the 14-day window
- Items showing signs of use, wear, or damage caused by the customer
- Gift cards
4. Damaged or Defective Items
We package every order with great care, but occasionally damage occurs in transit. If your order arrives damaged or contains a production defect:
- Contact us at sales@cghwood.com within 5 business days of delivery
- Include your order number and clear photographs of the damage or defect
- Include a photo of the original packaging if shipping damage is suspected
Upon review, CGH will at our discretion:
- Remake and reship the item at no charge (our preferred resolution), or
- Issue a full refund to your original payment method
We reserve the right to request the return of the damaged item before processing a resolution. If a return is required in this case, CGH will provide a prepaid shipping label.
5. Cancellations
- Non-custom orders may be cancelled for a full refund if the order has not yet shipped. Contact us immediately at sales@cghwood.com.
- Custom orders may be cancelled for a full refund within 24 hours of placement, provided production has not yet begun.
- Once production has begun on a custom order, cancellations are not accepted.
6. Gifts
If you received a CGH product as a gift and it qualifies for a return under this policy:
- We can issue store credit in the amount of the purchase price
- The original purchaser’s name or order number will be needed to process the return
7. How to Initiate a Return
- Email us at sales@cghwood.com with your order number and reason for return
- We will respond within 2 business days with return instructions
- Securely package the item and ship to the address provided
- We recommend using a trackable shipping method — CGH is not responsible for returns lost in transit
